The blood of Jesus Christ is the central focus of salvation and must be understood by all. Christ shed His innocent blood on the cross in order to remove our sins and reconcile us to God. This was in order to remove our sins and to reconcile us with God.

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (Eph. 2:13)
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (1Peter 1:2)
And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev. 7:14)
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Rev. 12:11NKJV)
Jesus Christ accomplished the following:
1. His Blood forgives the sins of all who repent and believe.
For this is My blood of the newcovenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matt. 26:28)
2. His Blood ransoms all believers from the power of Satan and evil powers.
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God[a]which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28)
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Eph. 1:7)
Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. (1 Peter 1:18-19)
And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, (Rev. 5:9)
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Rev. 12:11)
3. His Blood justifies all who believe in Him.
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, (Romans 3:24-25)
4. His Blood cleanses believer’s conscience that they might serve God without guilt in full assurance of faith.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (Hebrews 9:14)
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22)
Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. (Hebrews 13:18)
5. His Blood sanctifies the people of God.
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. (Hebrews 13:12)
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:7-10
6. His Blood opens the way for believers to come directly before God though Him in order to find grace, mercy, help, and salvation.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him,
since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25)
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, (Hebrews 10:19)
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. (Ephesians 2:13, 18)
7. His Blood is a guarantee of all the promises of the new covenant.
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29)
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (Hebrews 13:20)
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.(Matt. 26:28)
In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” (1 Cor. 11:25)
8. The saving, reconciling and purifying power of the Blood of Christ is continually appropriated to believers as they come to God through Him.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25)
