Mary of Nazareth, the Mother of Jesus

Mary was the wife of Joseph and the mother of JesusChrist, who was conceived within her by the Holy Spirit when she was a virgin (Luke 1:26-30).  Her encounter with God allowed her to fulfill a destiny that no other woman will ever be able to accomplish.  She was the earthly mother of Jesus Christ and set an example as she said “I am the Lord’s servant…. may it be to me as you have said” (v. 38).  She had the most extensive relationship with Jesus of all women because she was his mother. What a blessing and life changing experience!
