He exists from everlasting to everlasting and exists as the “I am” God.   He was here before heaven and earth were created.  The entire first chapter of Genesis explains His works of creation and gives further details on how He created the plants and animals on the earth.  He then created man.

Deut. 33:27 “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.”

Psalms 90:1,2Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”

Daniel 2:37 “Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.” 

Col. 1: 17 “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
